Why is no title a bad deal? Is it hard to get a title in Tennessee?
I'm not sure, but I think my generator trailer came without a title, & I had no problem in Indiana.
Well, now that I've got a trailer, I'd like to put a cover on it.
Anybody have a decent used cover for sale? I really don't care if it's green or camo.
I have plenty of bows.
Thanks,
Eric
Went & picked the trailer up today. Man, there are a lot of components in that thing!
I haven't unpacked all the "inflatable" parts yet, but some are kinda nasty from raccoons having lived in them.
I can't imagine I'll ever actually try & use the shelter, as it looks like it would be too much...
Yup.
Craigslist Elkhart.
Really have no idea what I'll do with it yet, other than trying to figure out what can be made to work. Looks to be in poor shape, but who knows.
A Paxton blower? Had those on our '63 Studebakers!
Thanks for the info. Any idea how many amps the generator is rated at?
Would be nice to get that working.
Guys,
I just bought a trailer, described by the seller as a "decontamination trailer".
I only looked at it briefly, and know nothing about it.
Looks like an M105 trailer with a whole pile of stuff on/in it. Apparently has a generator of some kind, as I saw a panel marked 120VAC, 208 3 Phase...
Well, I figured out that the primer pump shaft comes out really easy. "O" rings looked fine, so I oiled them up & the pump works fine. I think it was just dry from sitting.
I filled the filter canister just to save time. Started right up & runs fine.
Thanks again.
Thanks, Hammer.
I thought that would work, but wasn't sure. Heck, I had to get out the manual to find out where the fuel pump is!
I'll work on it today.
Eric
I really need to replace the fuel filter in my M813. The priming pump on the dash is jammed in.
Can I just fill the filter can with fuel before installing?
Any other ideas how to prime?
Can/should I just repair or replace the primer pump? Anybody ever done it?
Thanks for any help guys.
Eric
Seems to me like you could just run it without the flanges. Cover the bearings with a baggie & duct tape.
I remember someone on here just made some covers out of wood too.
It's reunion time again! This coming weekend. Eight miles east of Kokomo Indiana on Hwy 26. See HCVVO.org for details.
We'll be there with our M35 gasser, M35A2 with "riot" box, M422A1 Mighty Mite, & M 103 trailer.
Hopefully, Wild Thing will show again.
It's a really great time for ALL veterans...
