Robert,
Build it and they will come(from the movie). It's all about how much you are willng to put in it. tmmintrucks, is hosting a little grass roots thng here in LA, that keeps getting bigger as it it gets closer. Get an action plan in your head and post it. Trying to do it as a money...
I should be there around 10:00AM. Because my son's drill dates have been changed, do to a new Staff member, My Wife and Daughter may show up later to bring the male child around 13:00. That means we may have two more eaters for the Bar-B-Que.
You need a tool to loosen up the adjustable pulley on the compressor. Mine was frozen and I had to cut the old belt and remove the old one a use a lot of penetrating oil and some heat to free it up.
If it wasn't so late, I'd try and link a thread with the info. There are two pinch bolts that...
Wouldn't do it here in Louisiana because of the lawyers also. As far as maintaing the truck, figuire it out beforehand. Having free labor doesn't solve all your problems. Maintaing one needs to be in your budget for it to work. The parts are availble, but they can add up and regular Maint would...
I'm trying to figuire out what we're really trying to do here. From the information I've read, Im thinking He just wants to ride and a tommy gate would work to get a person in a wheelchair in the back if they have one that is big enough for the Deuce. As far as getting someone in the cab, a few...
And if you're going to use it and depend on it to get you 200m round trips, make sure its up to the task. don't get the fever too bad that it clouds your vision, and buy something that takes to much money/time away from you to do the rock crawling you like to do.
Tim,
Please put a list of what would make it easier on you. I know when I go riding dirt bikes with my friends a couple time a year, we always had multiple people bringing the same stuff as far as the main event Saturday. I'm sure those traveling and staying/camping will bring what they need...
In another thread I have one coming apart and trying to figure out how to remove the old one. thanks for the pic's with the wedge! I also like the idea of making a temporary restraint, since I don't have $500 to spend changing all of the bushings right now.
Trying to clean all the extra gunk off the deuce to paint it, and found something else to fix. The lower dog bone on the front drivers side is coming apart. Anybody have an idea of the best place to get another one? Anybody had them repaired?
Wreckerman, call me if you still have my number or PM if not. I will probably just use mine as a generator and not sure if I'll ever use it with the infatable shelter.
If its the M51 shelter trailer like I got from wreckerman, I found a manual online and uploaded it to the site. Check the TM's and see if you can find it or PM me if thats what you have.
While replacing the brake parts on my Deuce, I have noticed the fluid seems more purple when I first open the container but is more yellow when i open it up later to top it off.
I had to drill three holes in the uppermost bar and drill two in the windshield frame that lined up where the top looked like it was reinforced to accept the
bows and there was already a hole in the middle of the wind shield frame a little too big
Thanks for the input. I just got finished changing all of my parts changed, but the parts have been in the high moisture enviroment here. I think I just need to bleed a little more, but other things to try after that are good to know.
