If it was a katrina victim, I would just try to save the body parts and scrap the rest. There are probably a few pieces of the drivetrain that can be saved if cleaned up, but after 3yrs its all probably all gone. littlebob

As far as the door latch goes, Are you sure you don't have it in the locked position inside? If your doors are solid(little rust) I would think about trying to fix it. I broke a few bolts when removing mine. If you need some parts for yours I might have them. PM me...

When I got mine a year or two ago they were about $26 from Saturn. I try to do business with the people and advertisers on the site. Another advertiser here has them also and I've found it More user friendly to do online...

I bought three of the standard book. Originall one for myself and then after I thought I lost it at work, I ordered two more. When I found the first one I gave one to my cousin that helped with the addiction and one to a Marine Aviator I know that is a history buff. Great book if you can find it...

I had the same problem with mine. The pivot points on both shoes were sticking due to corrosion and it took a while to get them off to clean them up. On an older vehicle like these, I would just pull everything apart and check for free movement adjustment and the return springs...
