if you want as close to mil spec as possible you have RAPCO, AERVOE, and Gillispie (think thats how you spell it).... rapco and gillispie may be the same stuff just different suppliers im not certain. Aervoe used to be real bad about turning pink. They may have fixed it but havent heard that...

wiring up a replacement guage cluster

ahh crap are they doing that again........ i have more tritium in my dive watch than is in an entire gauge cluster after sitting in it for 25 years. anyway. the gauges are all really easy to mess with everything is standardized between military vehicles so once youdo it once your good forever.

First Deuce -- Rear Main Seal

ive never had a problem with any quality suppliment. I use some lucas oil additive and seafoam in just about everything these days. These are older engines the seals are old and some parts are worn. The additives arent going to hurt anything. especially using seafoam in diesel fuel. i dont know...

    Mystery jeep.....

im not sure what combination of what it is but it looks like bunches of fun to drive.... what it looks like it what is always left over after about a dozen rebuilds cobbled together...... and i like it. Put a set of Gama Goat axles and ROPS from a M151 and really keep them guessing.

    M105 Trailer pickup question??

by the way... the guys did tell you that bringing a camera and taking pics for the board is helpful.... you shouldnt have any problems, im not sure how much experience you have had with GL but redstone requires 24 hrs notice to get on the base unless you have a CAC card/base sticker. i usually...

hmm sounds like it may of been a tread wear issue then. is it still only over 45/50 mph or does it increase with acceleration?

    Memphis Equipment Company

they do have allot of really unique parts you cant find anywhere else.... and they are expensive.... but if you ask nice they let you wander around and get the parts you need and pay up front.

    Hmmm this looks oddly familiar....

there are two kinds of mil vehicles collectors, those that think that having a gama goat would be cool, and those that have actually owned one..... rofl

    Hmmm this looks oddly familiar....

genius and to think all i had to do was take the mercedes symbol off my unimog and weld it to my old gama goat...... insane. but oddly enough, i bet it would be hard to beat. I really liked the capabilities of my gama goat it was the engineering that made it a bear. If the same engineers who...

M35 (and other MV) Roadside Assistance list

Im willing to help anyone in the hobby. I dont really care if they are a member of this group, the MVPA in general, or a local outfit. We are too small a hobby to be limiting outselves to subgroups IMHO. I love this group always have but it doesnt mean I wont stop to help when I see a broken...

    100DOLLARMAN's 1st Bobbed 5 Ton!!!

The guy who did the tv show with the bobbed deuce used airbags like you were talking about. I have it DVRed at home. It was a pretty slick setup. He used the deflated airbags to load a suzuki in a fabricated bed. The kit was pretty slick. Ill probably keep using the front end kit, why mess...
