    Stupid Question about Highway Gears??

I don't know how rear these things are but if you have ever dealt with government surplus you know that these will dry up. I remember seeing boat loads of Dana 60 front ends coming out surplus... Today not so much. Try and find surplus Woodland camo BDUs or field gear. Right now there are boat...

    Stupid Question about Highway Gears??

I have bought and had highway gears and has them installed into my LMTV... The gears where not cheap. However, I understand how the scrap market works. Anyone who complains about buying a $50.00 chunk of scrap and "flipping" it for $5000.00 really doesn't have a grasp of the scrap market. When...

Is there a consensus on cab floor sound / heat shield?

Supraman <sp>(Will) had the mats. They only cover the floor under your feet. I got one from him and cut the OEM one to match. He has a picture of the driver side mat on his ebay page. I believe he also had passenger side but I didn't need that one.

I think my air compressor is cycling to much.

I have not been able to fine a leak but have noticed that the compressor doesn't cycle as much when its warmer out. So I thought Iwould service my air dryer. Well it seems that the army has busted the plastic desiccant canister and the aluminum cylinder edge looks to have been attacked by a...

Source for LMTV CBs and relays.

I have used "40" amp rated relays no name China ones that I have had issues with. I took them apart and the contact where pitted and burnt. Had one stuck closed... I have not had this type of issues with the Bosch even though they are rated less. Alot has to do with the diode as the 40 amp...

Source for LMTV CBs and relays.

Them are my fingers... Reasons I picked those relays are... 1) the diode 2) the color is different between the 12 volt and 24 volt coils 3) the where relatively inexpensive (shop around and Amazon was WAY too high) 4) NOT made in China 5) 5 pin will work in place of 4 pin so less spares to keep.
