Adjusting Load Sensing Valve on M1078

I do not know this to be true that 100% of system pressure is applied to the front. Do you know where in the TM it talks about this?

Adjusting Load Sensing Valve on M1078

Don't know where you got that the rear pressure is greater than the front with what I posted. It only talks about the rear service air. The air will be less to the rear wheels (no load in the bed) and the brake service chambers should be same volume front/rear. I believe they take the same...

Adjusting Load Sensing Valve on M1078

Reading the TM it says to hook up a pressure transducer to the brake can and then hook up to the STE/ICE. Are they just using the STE/ICE as a very expensive pressure gauge? I think my load sensing valve isn't adjusted right. I want to check but don't have a STE/ICE thingy

Cool side of the charge air cooler pipes. Why is there not any insinuation on them?

Looking thought some of the pictures of that auction site I see some of the trucks have insulation on the pipes. I also see there is a call out in the parts manual. Was there some type of revision to remove the insulation? Would it harm anything to warp the pipes with some exhaust pipe insulation?

Charge air hoses... Anyone have a lead?

Well changing my belts have turned into quite the lesson on what not to do. In my lessons I damaged the charge air hose on the cool side. I was wondering where I can get a replacement. The parts manual shows only a OEM part number an in my attempt to cross the number has ran into a dead end...

Interesting trans jack design for FMTVs

This one seem to be much better constructed than the smaller one. If I didn't buy it from harbor tool I would have thought it was not a harbor tool. there was someone here how said they used this on a M939 with no issues. I think it will be fine.

ABS...... advantage... disadvantage in FMTV.... your educated info appreciated

Can't speak for the LMTV but I DO NOT like ABS on an off road vehicle. If you are in gravel or similar it hamper stopping. If you only plan on driving on pavement then ABS is a good thing... IMHO
