oh and before its said, what ever you buy go ahead and read the vehicles offical military manuals before using it or servicing it. It really will save you allot of heartache. Most of them are on the resources section of this site
welcome aboard, its a great hobby and not overly expensive if you keep control of yourself and wait for good deals. The trucks are by and large meant to be serviced by hung-over 19 year old drop outs so they arent too difficult....usually.
That being said these all are maintenance...
well, i usually follow most rules and being disrespectful is rude. As soon as im in the country when SS has an event im planning on showing up...... hmmmm. Not sure how a demotion would work maybe if i toped out at my current military reserve ranking as a Sgt? Or my civil service rank of GS-13...
I agree completely, most of my post are nothing but meaningless dribble. To have my ranking here based entirely on the amount of useless material that generates from me would be....... strangely similar to the military  i guess now that im thinking about it.
Perhaps we should have two...
Im in tenn and use State Farm ins for my MV's.
If a title was never issued for the vehicle you can bring in the bill of sale and the state will issue a title for you. I had to do it with my Gama Goat and my Unimog both. The Unimog was even imported from Switzerland and they didnt make a big...
Yeah I wasnt at the Ga Rally but i did enjoy the pics.... I was in Iraq at my own MV rally i guess.
Yeah my brakes on mine are an issue but i make due. The sealed hub is a PITA but they are very simple in design.
I dont and will not swim mine (refer to above post) its just too much risk...
Your right it is onbackwards isnt it, did that on one of my trucks once.
Nice solid looking multifuel. Any more upgrades planned or is the electrical all you had in mind?
Dave
Ive owned one for awhile and i have enjoyed mine. The maintinance can be a problem because of the sealed hull and its more of a problem getting to the part that needs service than servicing the part. Ive never wanted to swim mine mostly because I own a boat and use mine primarily as a offroad...
truck looks great, it will probably be allot better after you get the power steering installed.
How tall are the tires I could probably use them but i dont need the rims any chance you could get them broken down prior to shipment? What are you asking
Dave
yeah i know what you mean..... and im a little guy. With my kit on at work i can barely drive our hummvees. Even my Gama Goat and Mercedes Unimog seem to be designed with a smaller framed person in mind.
