    Petronix Ignitor

I installed my Electronic Ignition on my 1961 Unimog 404. I bought it from Expedition Imports from Scott and the install was flawless. The online directions from the Expedition Imports website were much more clear than the included written directions. The truck is running much better and the...

    Trouble Replacing Canvas Cab Cover

i have the same groove in the windshield in my Gama Goat. The manual recommends a bit of lubricant along the cover to help it slide through. I cant remember which it recommends but i would assume a petrol based wouldnt be too good for it. Try "KY" jelly. For any of the resident old farts who...

    Re-powering a V100.. 5.9 cummins?

RE: Oops!!! not sure on the fitting but our mech's installed a 4bt in a Mamba with no problems and a 5.9 backed by a Allison in a Saxon which is a very heavily armored vehicle probably more in line with the V150 series. The 5.9 is preforming admirably and will burn the tires off the back when...

What type of camo is this?

As a Sgt currently in the Marine Corps i believe that the digital camo pattern reflects poorly on the Corps. I believe the offered photo is a fine example of a camo pattern in keeping with a well-earned reputation forged over two centuries of service. :D

    Roll over protection?

ive found that having military vehicles have made my offroad experience much safer. I spend so much time working on them i dont have any time to drive them where i might roll-over. :D Seriously, I have a Gama Goat and a Unimog both of which could probably stand a rollbar of some type. I carry...

WTB - Winter cargo cover in White or ???

ive never seen a US cover in winter camo. You might want to look into a custom cover made by a custom boat cover and awning manufacture. I priced a cargo cover in olive drab for my Unimog and it was only a couple hundred dollars. the basic measurements and pick your colors and you should be solid.
