They look like common brass valves as used on natural & LP gas systems in homes.
I'll bet if you took one off & took it to a REAL hardware store, they could match it up.
If it were me, I'd just use current type ball valves.

You really need to attempt to charge the batteries fully, then use a load tester on each one.
I don't have a 24 volt charger. I charge the batteries one at a time with a common 12 volt charger.
I picked up a $20 load tester from Harbor Freight that works fine. It's such a simple device, I see no...
Are you talking about the turn signal switch that attaches to the steering column?
If so, then yes, it's just a switch.
If you're including the flasher unit, then I doubt if it would work on 6 volts.

Phil,
I didn't see ASP 1 blow. I did a lot of work on ASP 2 in '68.
I was nearby when the Phu Bai ammo dump went up in '67 though. We thought we were really getting hit! Chunks were falling from the sky.
Camp Tien Sha was a major SeaBee supply & support base. There are some guys who were at...
"would say yours is a good candidate for injectors that are not spraying a mist as they should"
Okay, so what does it take to test the injectors? Or is there an additive to clean them that works well?
"timing could be an important issue also and is very easy to check"
Where is the info on...
Geez Rizzo,
Your idea looks great for summer driving, but during the winter I suspect you have your exhaust piped-in to defrost the windshield?
Are you sure?

John,
I'm an easy 40 miles south of the US 20 bypass around South Bend, Indiana. There's plenty of room here for the vehicles [35 acres of woods], a fairly well equipped shop, & a mobile home we use as a guest house.
You'd be welcome any time.

On my Deuce, there was a hole in the frame that I ran the cables through. I then connected them to the pull-ring. on the outside of the frame.

I have them on a Deuce & think they're great!
They're just a spring-closed valve that you pull the stem on to drain.
I need another kit for Deuce II.

Okay,
I built a stove using a 15 gallon drum. This throws quite a bit of heat.
I ran it on diesel first. It worked fine up to about #5 on the dial. If I turned it up higher, it would flood & smoke a lot.
Set it up last night with waste motor oil filtered to 100 microns. Due to the thicker oil...
I plan to put fuel burning coolant heaters on 2 trucks. A non-turbo multifuel Deuce, & a Cummins powered M813A1.
Can anyone tell me where to connect into the cooling system on these trucks?
Any help or pictures appreciated.

RE: Re: RE: Deuce Millage?
Tom,
Non turbo. Does that make a difference in mileage?
Starts great, runs great. It definitely smokes, but I don't have another to compare it to.
I use diesel conditioner regularly. It's supposed to keep the injectors clean, but who knows?
I'll see if I can find...
