Looking at getting a Deuce, how much did you get yours for?

The M36 is a longer wheelbase version. As far as I know thats the only difference. I got a rough m35a2 from GSA for $1210.00 and will probably spend another$2k to 4k before Iget it the way I want it. I started with a rough one so I could finance the rebuild a couple of hundred dollars at a...

Picture from Colemans trip - MV stuff needs to get rescued!

If you watch srpldlrs links I saw a link about a Methlab crackdown that came up on the bottom. I hope the Government is spending more time on that. We've all done stupid stuff as far as the enviroment Years ago, but I don't think most of us did it deliberatly. I know I am much more responsible...

    Outbid by $10,000

WOW! But I se the point. Since I got mine in April I've spent more time working on my $1200 project Truck than with my Wife and Kids. They'll all want to ride in it when I'm done, but If I could have been able to afford spending that kind of money for a truck I didn't have to do much work on...

    Low Mounted Headlights

I'm trying to figure out why my DEUCE has the headlights mounted lower than most or if that will tell when it was made. The Data plate says "1972 Kaiser" but the number on the plate does not match the frame.

    Chemical Shelter engine

Having worked on many small engines, It sounds like you have a stuck float, or a leaking needle and seat on the carbs.Pull the plugs and check for wet plugs. If wet the engine is probably flooded and the cylinders could have unburnt fuel in them. Like recovery said, the first thing to check...

    EQUIPMENT NOISE LEVELS

I will look at the cost of doing an aircraft system on mine once I get it on the road. Most aircraft use the same voltage , so many aircraft accessoris should be compatible. The downside , anything approved for acraft use is expensive. I've looked in the Aircraftspruce catalog and seen things...
