The M36 is a longer wheelbase version. As far as I know thats the only difference. I got a rough m35a2 from GSA for $1210.00 and will probably spend
another$2k to 4k before Iget it the way I want it. I started with a rough one so I could finance the rebuild a couple of hundred dollars at a...
If you watch srpldlrs links I saw a link about a Methlab crackdown that came up on the bottom. I hope the Government is spending more time on that. We've all done stupid stuff as far as the enviroment Years ago, but I don't think most of us did it deliberatly. I know I am much more responsible...
RE: Re: RE: Total exterior repaint of an M35A2
Ditto! Unless You have the equipment, time and knowledge ,I would do the more expensive truck. I've been working on mine for a while and wishing I was driving it instead, the only advantage is knowing You did it the way you wanted done...
WOW! But I se the point. Since I got mine in April I've spent more time working on my $1200 project Truck than with my Wife and Kids. They'll all want to ride in it
when I'm done, but If I could have been able to afford spending that kind of money for a truck I didn't have to do much work on...
There is an extension on the flaps that is hinged. I never sent my Data Plate info to David because it was only four didgits. Once I started cleaning up the chassis, I finally found the ser#. The only bad thing is My title has the number on the data plate.
I'm trying to figure out why my DEUCE has the headlights mounted lower than most or if that will tell when it was made. The Data plate says "1972 Kaiser" but the number on the plate does not match the frame.
I got mine from GSA for $1210 because it was only ten miles from home. I'm in the process of rebuilding it cosmeticaly, and it only shows about 1500 on the odmometer from a rebuid in the late 80's I've already spent about the same on new parts, Brake parts, cab canves , batteries, seat covers and...
Having worked on many small engines, It sounds like you have a stuck float, or a leaking needle and seat on the carbs.Pull the plugs and check for wet plugs. If wet the engine is probably flooded and the cylinders could have unburnt fuel in them. Like recovery said, the first thing to check...
Welcome to our world. This is the place where we share secrets and dream of that next one we will bid on GSA or GL. Once
you get started working on them, your Family may forget what you look like, because you spend so much time working on your project...
Welcome!,
Now I'm not the only one showing up in our state. I am in the proccess of rebuilding mine to Parade Ready state and
it's taking a little longer than I had hoped , but all of my projects do. I've found you can get questions to all your answers here
and everyone treats...
I will look at the cost of doing an aircraft system on mine once I get it on the road. Most aircraft use the same voltage , so many aircraft accessoris should be compatible. The downside , anything approved for acraft use is expensive. I've looked in the Aircraftspruce catalog and seen things...
What about a Jake Brake for the multifuel in the 2.5 ton? I don't think I'll need one, but I would love to make the noise . Anybody know if that is possible?

I,ve seen the remote reservior idea come up before. should be able to do asearch and find it. If I remember correctly one member said he used a brke fluid reservior from the rear brake system on a motorcycle...
