Mine came with the spring drivers and bench passenger seat. I got another cab to help complete the project with another springer. I think I'll probably use both springer and build a storage unit with a cushion for the middle that is removable to facilitate an Ice Chest or something...
One Great thing about this site, is I can always show My Wife I'm not the only one. Great Trucks, I probably won't be able to keep up, but
only for lack of funds.
Congrats...
I seem to have more leaks than I want to fix on the entrance, but it is only needed for decontamination. the main portion seemed to do alright without the support poles but I reall would't want to wake up with it on my face(its heavy). Still trying to find a fuse holder for the control panel to...
Not knowing what you've already tried all I can tell You what I found on the magneto on my genrator for the shelter trailer. I was told to check the points and they were a little crusty. I cleaned the points and checked for shorts with an ohmeter before putting back on. I spent more time trying...
Looks like I'm going to need a fuse holder and fuse to march forward with the the heat and A/C. anbody know where to get ? I was able to put the entrance up today , but it has a couple of leaks. I filled the main shelter up friday night and it didn't show signs of needing more air till this...
RE: no spark
My doors were rusted shut too, but my son put some PB blaster penetrating oil on them and now they open and close. I'll probalbly toss that part of it myself, because its not needed for my purposes. I might to inflate it tommorrow if it doesen't rain...
RE: no spark
I think it depends on how many leaks it has. I downloaded the manual, but who has time to read the whole thing. I'll let you know tommorrow.
I think it's desighned to be connected all of the time because ther is a pressure regulator on the air pump and I figure they were designed...
RE: no spark
Thank's Mike, It was You that told me not to give up on the motor that had more water in it than oil. I don't know about the long haul but I
I think these are much tougher than I imagined
RE: no spark
Happy Birthday to me. I spent a few hours getiing the magneto in right after finding the TM. Got it to fire and run just before going to my son's soccer games. When we got back we hooked up the inflation hose and were able to inflate almost all of it. When I first cranked it...
hinge ready!
I got it off this evening. My other one looks okay and The only thing wrong with the one I will send you is that I buggered up the threads on the hinge pin sometime in the past. I used a file and hacksaw blade to get the nut to run up and it should be OK. PM me again with a...
I'd have to look at my receipts, but I think I got mine from Saturn. I also saw that Colemans had them on thier site yesterday pretty cheap. Haven't had a chance to mount yet, but the one I bought had instructions for the Deuce and other model vehcles...
I have a different outlook on this since following this site for the last year. When I bid on mine on GSA, I kept it off the forum till I won it, but soon after remember posting links to upcoming Auctions thinking I was doing everybody a favor when I was probably just helping escalte the price...
Played with it a little last night. found it's a good way to find the soft spots in the cab. I think I'll just try to patch the ones I can see and save the scaler for what I bought it for, removing the undercoating and rust from the frame and supporting brackets...
20 Years ago (dam I'm gettin old) I worked at place that had a few F700's with them. They were 165hp model and The only thing I remember having an issue with was the starters. I've noticed over the years that there are a lot of variations of this motor, some for marine use. There also seems to...
Just bought a needle scaler and tried it out today. It looks like this will speed up my project quite a bit. I will try and find apiece to do a before and after photo or vidio.

I've already bought one drivers side zippered boot from Saturn and haven't installed it yet. I have since seen that I need to get one for the other side. I bought the one before I had time to do any research. I wonder if there could be any solvents used in washing that could have caused it . I...
