My glow plugs and high idle are not coming on anymore on a cold start. I want to ohm check the temp sensor that screws into the head but im not sure what the value should be on a cold engine.

So i pulled the starter out and tested it on the bench. If i put power to the main stud and the ignition stud it just pops it out and doesnt spin. If i put power to the main stud and the one with the strap on it going to the starter body it spins.
Im guessing the solenoid isnt sending power to...
i bought a cheap ebay starter in july that lasted about 2 months. had them send me a new one under warrenty. that one went out a week ago. got another under warrenty and that one started the blazer 3 times before it went out and left me stranded.
so it will be going back and getting my money...
turned the head lights on in my 09 and both my blinkers lit up. if i turned the blinker on the opposite one would flash in the dash
also my fuel gauge went to empty. if i turn the dimmer switch all the way down to shut the dash lights off it all works fine.

well it works now. not sure what the problem was. i messed with about 5 different things so not sure what fixed it. cant wait for my cummins swap and get rid of all the hokey crap
had the alternator tested at napa and it put out 14.7 volts
but i just cant figure out why my gen 2 light wont come on.
i cant find were the break in the circuit is.
have good continuity between main wire off alt to batt
there is another smaller red wire with a fuseable link at the same post on...
gen 2 light wont turn on when i go to start my 09. ive checked the bulb and dash circuit board. also checked all the fuseable links by the junction block on the passenger side and the one by the glow plug relay.
tested voltage at batts with it running. front was batt 14.5 rear batt was 12.7...
