before i answer i have never even sat in a CUCV but i have ownded a chevy truck of similar year model.
mine was doing the same thing and it ended up being a sway bar bushing in the front end. havent heard your pop so im not sure if thats it but thats what mine was.

Well im having issues with the engine on my Gama Goat. Im a pretty crappy diesel mechanic and could use some advice.
-The engine is very hard to start in any weather but cranks fine after its been run for the rest of the day.

Beautiful country!!!!! I used to ski in Big Bear when i was in the Marines stationed on Camp Pendelton. Loved it up there. Never did do any wheeling but wish i had now. Do you have any more pictures. Those little Alpine vehicles look right at home.
ive been reading about the circuit breaker issue. If I end up with one with a fuse block is it an easy conversion to put a set of circuit breakers in. The vaccum assist on the breaks would be nice but I can live without it if I have to. I can see from the pictures that the arkansas trucks are...
