I would have loved to keep both. This was just a perfect storm. I was browsing CL looking for a new 4x4 and came across this ratrod. He was just testing the waters and so did I when I asked him if he would be interested in a trade. I refered the new owner to steelsoldiers so I imagine the truck...
I hope to get the ratrod capable of driving on a regular basis. If I can do that I'm sure I'll see many of you again in the local parades. This was my first real experience with a car (truck) club and it has been a great one. Dang good folks in this hobby
Well my goldfish-like attention span struck again. I traded fluffy for a rat rod. I'm sure I'll have another deuce in the future. But for now I'm gonna play in the world of low and rusty.
just to add to my 'unconfirmed' I need to bleed my brakes but will be there so long as no issues there. also I have a neighbor Boy Scout troop leader who may have none to many boy scouts hoping to ride along. Hope that's about as clear as lake thunderbird
I guess its a good thing I checked this after I had been out working on the rig this morning. If I had known we had rescheduled before now I doubt I would have had the motivation.
not to brag or anything but as long as I'm carrying another Marine in dress blues I don't think anyone even sees the other trucks.
but seriously it was tons of fun. looking forward to the convoy next
I had thought about building a crew cab with a cut down 109 van back and tied together. of course day dreaming and building are 2 very different things
