kwiksilver is right, rock crawlers always snap shafts when bound up with those tires. If you have ball & claw shafts they are kind'a brittle and shatter. U joint shafts bend and break. You can put in u joint shafts with a seal holder change or grind the B&C seal holder flat.

I built one for mine awhile back, seeing yours I should have incorporated a folding feature like that. I buy and sell Rockwell axles and it'll pick up a 5 ton frt but the 2.5 tons are easier on it. Just have to have the truck level when using cranes like yours and mine to be able to swing it...
How much for an unwelded version? I have a side welding business so I could finish it myself.
