I just found this thread and was wondering how you made out . This winter we had one plowable storm. This is one of my plow trucks that I am selling . I did add a counter weight on the 5th wheel and changed over to 11R24.5 tires . The air pistion worked great all these years
You can register your trailer legally in maine for alot less money and save on your excise tax. www.stabbagency.com It is easy and well worth the time.
Yes I built the plow frame. It was a little over kill but worked great. The tires are firestone 9.00x20 and the stock rims. The ndt is horrible in the snow and ice. I put some cobblestones in the back for ballast and only got stuck once .
If it has a title and is ready to roll $4500. is not a bad price, or you could try your luck on G.L. and wait and hope and then wait for E.U.C. then worry about getting it home, then deal with the d.m.v . You're choice.
Yes ,They had twin Detriot 353 bolted up to Borg warner 3:1 gears with 25" props. They have levers and a screw type bolt holding the bow to the stern section. They will both float on there own. It is a very powerful little unit. Very loud with straight pipes !
