the large area goes to the rear . you want to reduce the angle not increase. i worked in a suspension shop installing lift and lowering kits and saw this regularly. most likely its worse under under acceleration is because that you are close to right on until you hit the gas and the torque puts...
the civvy blazers with the 7/16 studs(i think thats what is on the 1009) the torque is 85 ft/lbs if they do have the small studs i wouldnt recommend anything higher. they are notorious for stretching which tends to cause the to cross thread usually and the worst time and the 1008 the torque is...
there is a plastic gear on the back side of the tumbler set that if it looses any teeth they can get stuck in the remaing teeth and jam the switch, keeping you from turning the key. this is the most likely. if that is what happened its a dealer or junk yard part only. only 13 bucks at dealer
maybe a dumb question but what motor are we talking about. if its the cummins i have seen this on my fathers road truck(400 big cam) the cap would simply come off cause the rubber that you squish to seal it in the cover would become soft from wear and soaked with oil and the extra pressure from...
the block on my truck is loose (lastthree trucks) although they were civvy truck the wiring is similar i have seen that problem before on a couple of the truck check in the rear of the frame if someone has added trailer wiring to the harness check that i have seen plenty of people splice groups...
sorry for the crude drawing but this is how my accesory plu is kooked up. was like that when i got the truck and has worked fine for thetwo plus years ive had it
if they have 4.56 gears its going to slow down. the 4th gear ratio is only 1 to 1 on the sm465. but a 7.56 to low gear so with that much torque expect things to break
i have the 465 in my pickup. its a 75 k10 with a 350. but with 32"in tires and 373 gearsits running 3000 rpm at 65 mph. but it has power to spare i have a couple of busted axles to prove it. if the m1008 has the 308 gears(i think thats what they have, not really sure) it should do considerably...
i got mine from napa NPT 616826 for 3/4 dr. NPT 617826 for 1" dr. as far as the cheater bar method i broke three extension with a breaker bar and a four foot piece of pipe. then found a 1"dr impact at a local swap meet for 60 dollars and couldnt pass it up. as far as torque qoes they use the...
the shop that does it has to be certified to do the inspections.but the loop hole(in az at least) is that the owner of the company that owns the truck can sign the inspection and be good(this may have changed, not sure) but anyone can get the certification to do dot level inspection. most...
in az anything over 10,000lbs has to have a min. of 4 tiedowns pulling in opposite directions(straight from dot.was stopped at two in the morning for an inspection and was promptly told my load was not properly secured). crossed is best. something that sized i would do 6 at least
suicide wheels is in refernce to the the lock rings on the stock duece wheels if done improperly the rings can come off and quite possibly kill the person working on the while inflating. the hmmtt wheels can go without a tube cause the split is sealed with an o-ring but the deuce wheels require...
chk turbo if blowing oil into intake side can cause runaway. only way to shut them down is to stall them out(put in high gear hold the brakes and let out the clutch) or smother the intake of air. have had this happen with civvy road trucks. your seals could be failing and letting oil into the intake
im in glendale if you need a hand you might want to check out the amvcc at armytrucks.org we meet once a month and we will be in the vets parade on wed. i could recomend a couple but they aint cheap(the good ones arent)
with 410s and 35s you should be close to stock rpm. most civvy trks came with 373 gears and 30 in tires so you should be running close to the rpm as stock maybe even a touch lower
dont understand it either they didnt change anything but his email address and the cc info was no longer valid(old card) but they bid on a trk for 1000 dollars and its two states away on top of it
wanted to share this problem with you guys and see if anyone has any ideas. someone managed to get a onto gl and used my brothers acct didnt change anything but his email address but ended up bidding on a trk that closed today and was the high bidder. when my brother contacted gl they said it...
