I am in the process of rebuilding my front end, and found that the kingpin bushings are too small to fit over the kingpins. I double checked the part numbers, and everything is correct. Am I missing something???
Wheel studs
Are you 100% certain on these part numbers? I cant find them in any local stores, and im about to order them online. I just want to make sure before I order. Do you have the euclid part numbers for the stock studs, so I can look up the dimensions for comparison.
Im having a lot of "clunking" when turning, both left and right. Im thinking it may be time to replace the kingpin bushings. Anybody else have this issue? Tie rod and draglink ends appear to be good.
Really??? I will have to do some research. What makes these axles so different than others??? I know a lot of people running rebuild rockwells on high horsepower rock crawlers and buggies that have all right hand lugs, and never have any problems. But I will certainly look it up on here and see...
Yeah that is pretty pricey. Do you have any part numbers, or know where I can look for them at.? I wouldn't mind just changing to all right hand threads while I'm at it
Are there longer wheel studs available for the front wheels? I am running 395's on PLS-T wheels, on peashooter's adapters. My lug nuts are pretty much flush with the end of my studs. Kinda worried about them backing off, or snapping off. Any info on where I can get a longer set would be greatly...
Ok, I was able to find it. The first time I guess I found the timing, marked tooth, and it only came up about 1/4 inch. Second time I found it and it pulled right out. First time doing it, so it's always a little stressful. Now I know what to look for. Thanks for your help.
Thinking about bobbing my deuce and wanting to add 4" of lift to it. Are there springs I can buy that will give me that height, or am I going to have to make custom leaf packs?
