Hello,
So since I've had this truck (M1008 ) I've had an annoying problem with my turnsignals. I 'fixed' it by buying a new blinker relay everytime, but that is getting real old. The ones I bought now are maybe 3 weeks old and rapidly getting worse. The problem is, they start out fine, but in a...
Had my M1008 up to 115+ MPH, the speedo was reaching the 5 MPH. Offcourse, this was with a 454 BBC and on 37 inch tires. CUCV's are surprisingly stable at speed actually.
Hi guys,
I have swapped a 454 in place of the 6.2 diesel, but kept the radiator. Is there a single hose (perhaps a universal one) that fits on the 1.5" diamter waterneck to the 2" outlet on the radiator? I need about 29" inches.

So once again, does anyone know, or...
I took the time to look up the cost of a crate LSA engine. Definately not a budget build!
Agreed on the trans, IMO a manual would've nicely complimented that engine.
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a direct replacement of the radiator, and I want a full aluminum one. I found this thread: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?69769-M1009-radiator-replacement-432098-engine-oil-cooler-lines-don-t-fit
In that thread, I found this link...
I don't think I've posted before in this forum, here goes.
I'm Willem and I'm from Holland. I have a '85 M1008.
Mostly stock, just a brand-x 4" lift, 37" BFG Baja tires on recentered Humvee wheels and a 454 instead of the 6.2
Currently chasing a nasty driveline vibration.
First time offroad...
