While your at it, you can put some foam in the seat. Your wife will appreciate it.
I had the foamfactory.com cut me a piece to size. My wife enjoyed the ride much more.
I think they are 7/16 fine thread on the bottom. Mine only had one bottom bolt. Be carefull when you tighten the back bolt. The Alt. and the block mount had some slop on mine with about a 1/16 gap on the back between the Alt. tab and the mount.
Duce, I've got a '79 4wd f250 I'm working on now. PM me if you get it and I may get a few parts from you.
DUCE, ALSO KEEP A WATCH ON THE STORMS THIS MORNING

Hi all
leroygreen from southern Indiana.
I joined a while back to learn all I could before getting a Deuce and just never intoduced myself. I have learned a ton from the site. Thank you to the site and everyone that has that has offered help.
Welcome, The most important thing you can get is information. Do your reasearch. In Springfield Mo. make sure you get a heater. Have fun and take your time and check your truck out from top to bottom esp the brakes. Make sure you have some extra cash on hand after you buy for brake work and...
Progressive and geico also would not even give me a quote. I also went throgh state farm and pay only $33 per month. Searching this site when I got my truck gave me lots of leads. It must be an Indiana thing with progressive and gieco.
If your talking about the wiper arm upgrade, I didn't have to cut mine off. The knurls I got were different thickness.
Put the right knurl on and then the nut that came with the wiper arms. Go easy on the wiper motors when tightening the nut.
I have seen this done on an old gasser Deuce. It was a mud truck with a blown 454 and 400 turbo. The rear half of the leafs looked like they had been torched off. It looked like a weird setup but it worked for him.
