While sanding thru 43 years of paint (yellow, red, orange then yellow again and finaly green) I discovered that what I thought was a US Army M 37 is actualy A USMC M 37. So now Im tring ( with out much luck )to figure out how the Marines marked their M 37's. Help!!! :freaked:
CGarbee,
Great Web site you did an outstanding job documenting your prjects.
DAP,
I agree, Paul has been a great help. If you ever have a few hours to kill and want to talk about M37's Paul is probably The man you want to call. This guy has a wealth of information on the subject!
I am thinking of throwing a Hercules DT3.7 in my M37 and before I spend that kinda of money :freaked: I was wondering  if any of you had any comments for [^] or against :nono: the DT3.7.
I am looking for a cab and cargo cover complete with all brackets, bolts, straps, etc. I think I found a web site that sells it all but they list every part separately and I have no idea what exactly I need to put it all together. Can anyone help me out :freaked:
Longhunter7,
LOL ok I'll try that # I even did a google search on that address you gave me and still nothing. Let me know if you ever need a hard to get part for your M37 Ive met alot of people over the past year who have been very helpful.
Longhunter,
If I were to change the axle ratio what kind of speeds could I realistically expect with the original engine and trany? Im just trying to get close to freeway speeds with out compromising its awesome climbing abilities, not trying to break any speed records.
Well the good news is that it has already been converted to 12 volts and as far as the wife goes I just take her out to dinner a few times a month and she pretty much leaves me alone
I am restoring a 1962 M37 and I would like this thing to go faster then 45 MPH. Anyone know of any good conversion kits that would solve this problem? I would like to be able to use the exsisting PTO wench.
