no it was not purchased from GL, it was registered and titled to the phoenix police, and unfortunately my "previewing from 1300 miles away" skillset is low.
if there were obvious calcium deposits/rust staining/paint bubbling/etc... where the leak occured, i would have noticed it prior to...
i don't want to post it for sale on here as that would be against the rules, only paying members may post for sale ad's. i was just mentioning my circumstances.
i also may consider trading it for a m35 thats ready to go, and cash
ok thanks, they must not have been to serious anyways or they would have already been there to see it, i've pushed no one away, and have had no one look at it thusfar.
kwest, Thanks, it'll all get sorted out in the end i'm sure. things always do.
it's still listed....all i've had is one guy with an out of state number who stopped responding, one guy telling me his friend thinks i'm a 'fag', and a couple emails, which i have returned. i removed my number due to the child who kept texting me things stating i was a 'fag'. if they want to...
Neophyte: i've been scouring craigslist.
98G: thanks, but i think by the time i paid for fuel costs (which is absolutely a fair request) i'd probably be over what a landoll would charge.
trukhead: i'll check the sites, i'm sure shipping it would be horrible.
74m35a2: i'll try to remember to...
i had no issue pulling it and replacing it, but the guy who was "selling me one" decided yesterday that he wasn't going to sell it now. pretty crappy in my opinion, guess i shouldn't have waited so long but i've had a string of bad luck and busy with wrecked trucks and insurance companies lately.
well, the local guy on here that was going to sell me a radiator decided to change his mind and keep it. and then the next day the person i rent my storage yard from informed me that it was sold and i have 30 days to clear all my stuff out. so, this (and nearly everything else) has found it's...
no i got a good deal, just could have gotten so much more if the kid's schools weren't a factor. i would rather have less house and have my kids actually speak fluent English (that forgotten language the minority speak now?)
sorry for the delay, house hunting coupled with the heat and wife and 4 daughters.... ANYWAYS, took a few pics the other day, but i was being rushed by the above. i'll get one of the ac interior and top side when i'm there again. probably be a month or 2 before things settle down and i can...
given the temps here, i find repairing doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, i'd prefer to replace it with a good used unit. but worst case i'll have a shop check it out. due to it's size i figure they'd probably want as much to repair it as i could find a used one for.
it has a normal a/c compressor on the engine, and hoses running up and into the a/c unit, it's just mounted to the roof, i didn't notice any extra supports. but next time i'm there i'll take some photo's for you.
Come look things over in 110 degree's with the 140+ degree sun blasting down on you.... let me know how how leisurely you go about inspecting. i noticed once i had issues, but prior to hitting the road, at slow speeds....it felt just fine.
Perhaps not a big factual Hole, once pressurized it blew it out everywhere.....i'll get some pics next time i'm down there, but coming from 70-80 degree's for the last 2 yrs to 110+ daily is, taking a bit to adapt. The last thing i want to do is go stand in the sun heh.
They went with the...
To the user asking if i have a cdl, no i do not. i've driven vehicles with air brakes, you aren't magically more intelligent in the driving of such because you have a piece of paper signifying a cdl.
I appreciate all the responses, I feel i got screwed because i was simply told it ran/drove...
