I'm definitely going to say it's going to depend on your reinforcing of the mounting location and how it's tied into the frame. You might be able to get it up to half the rating with proper reinforcing, possibly more.
But I don't think it's going to be used very often or for extended periods...
For a time I was considering heavier off road vehicles for the expedition build I'm wanting to do but I trimmed it down for a couple reasons that might not be a concern to others.
First reason I found out there are weight limits in some park/game lands, this is due to conservation issues for...
Yea I'm interested in it because I'm going to start traveling from place to place and there will be a few times that the dog won't be able to stay by my side as much as I'd like. The climate control is the feature I'm most interested in but the logistics is cool too because you have all that...
I'm looking for information/manuals for the deployable climate controlled single dog kennels made by Garrett the numbers on the data plate are 961130D. I've hunted through the Army Publishing Directorate list but can't find the right section for the information.
Any help on the topic would be...
That's why I like Zippo products they are really are still a family styled business and you can have them repair any lighter of theirs all the way back to the very first product they made in 1935. I also have a ideal where I prefer local businesses and Zippo is still based in Bradford PA. They...

I'm mostly only familiar with the equipment used by petroleum handling units and comms.

Nah I'm the scratch build type I've helped several friends rod out older cars and trucks as well as doing RV upgrades, so I am just going with the base platform and go from there myself.

To get RV plates you need cold storage, cooking facilities, a table and a bed installed that would bypass CDL granted if I had the room in the cab I could get that in a day with parts I already have.

I didn't think of the tractor units, does anyone know if you need a CDL to drive a 5th wheel with no trailer? It falls well under the GVWR for my state.

This is my first post so go easy on me and please move if this is the wrong section for this.
I'm a military brat so I've been eyeing the green iron since I was very young but couldn't join due to my health issues. I am now looking at the 5 ton long frames for a camper. I know that I want a...
