Well I got the wheel bearing fixed yesterday and were good to go. I will be cruising down to the west end of Galveston sat and Sunday for some surf fishing. Changed the front bearing and changed the fluid in all 3 axles, been a busy 3 days!!!
I ordered all the stuff last night so hopefully it comes in in the next few days so I can get to wrenching. I want it to be ready for next weekend so bad!
Just posting a update, I have nearly 1500 miles on the new joints with no issues. I went ahead and replaced the other two i found that were bad. Im taking it for a little off road action next week. Im gonna try to mount my GoPro under the bed to get a video if the new joints in action.
So while the truck is down for the winter I have a guy that is gonna modify my bumper. Gonna add a main hoop and winch mount. He has a couple of ideas but wanted to see if you guys had any? This is how it looks now and just open to ideas.
Yeah nothing never really got confirmed so it didn't happen. But I'm still down for a few get togethers. I have a few things on the checklist to repair on the Duece so after the first of the year will be better for me now.
Yeah they were very easy. The outer two lights I used the bolts that attach the bumper to the bumper bracket and the three inside I just drilled a hole for. I will get a night shot tonight of all of them on.
So I found a **** of a deal. Some guy was selling 5 truck-lite 24v LED flood lights. I got them mounted but not wired up yet. How do you guys run your lights on series or parallel?
Will this change allow guys using the tapatalk app to post pics straight from a mobile device? Because within the last week I haven't been able to post pics using the tapatalk app like I have before. Just curious.
