Absolutely, well done!
And congratulations.
But shouldn't we all close this out with a party or something?!
I can bring some chairs.
PS Any NEW project in the works?
You get religion though when you need to filter the essential from the non-essential and squeeze them all into the limited space of one work-truck.
I started the process a couple years back, and only just recently FINALLY got it all to work out.
I hear you, n8roro!
The scary part of any project, the "leap of faith", the moment you get underway, hoping that it all works out like it's supposed to.
Welds don't necessarily "care" if they're pretty.
That's more the concern of the welders.
If you got good penetration and some solid root throughout, that weld is plenty good.
You bet, it looks great.
And I'm a little removed from the industry but guessing that paint hasn't changed all that much.
The rule of thumb was Exterior paint, you figured re-painting every 5-7 years no matter who the manufacturer or what quality.
A great item for sure, but realizing now by your post that the impact-drill might just make it unnecessary to hang on to.
But sometimes the manual "systems" make a good back-up to the power tools. Got to think about this....
The kit is missing a bit (one of the slot heads I think it is)...
Like anything, it's a moving target, but maybe there's a rule-of-thumb someone will quote you here.
If you do hear any laughing, it's nobody laughing at you, it's just laughing for the fun of it.
Because it's fun, you know, horsing around:
Aw, the poor dears.
Their kitty-feelings got all hurt apparently because you pointed out to them what should have been completely obvious.
Bless their little hearts.
Maybe I missed it here, but did you ever get a story about that rig's service? Where it "did duty' (if any)?
