I did have some problems to start with. I welded expanded metal to each one of the angles. Now it works great no slip at all, climbs up or down no problem.
I have a bendix ad-9 installed on my duece. It hooks up to the air line from the compresser to the air tanks. Then you have to tee off the small line on the compresser and run a small line to the ad-9. Pic shows it on the outside of frame where the spare tire was.
I did all the work myself. I plow snow with my skidsteer and the salt in MN was getting to it on a open trailer. Thats what I bought it for. Had a 70 chev dump truck that was in bad shape so I took the hoist out and scraped the rest.
