Ranchhopper,Sounds like youve been busy too.They are alot of work,I wish I could keep every one I ve built.My excavation business has been slow,so I have been building trucks and selling them to keep the bills paid.

I am really busy this weekend,wish I could make it.

Appel's M818 Conversion Here are some pics of the truck. I finally got it finished. I shortened a duece bed and the troop seats by 28". I like how it turned out.

I agree with ranchhopper,I have an 817 and think a 813 bed would have way too much overhang.

Does anybody have the part #s for a 800 series front axle inner,outter wheel bearings also bearing race and wheel seal #s.Does anybody know if the back are the same as the front.Also need a lower radiator hose part # for a 800 series 250 cummins.THANKS,JOHN.

I just sold my M816 for $10k.It was in excellent shape with fresh paint,everything was there and working. I had that much in it.I always wanted one then when I got It I never used it in the 4 months I had it.It was easier to use the backhoe or excavator to pick things up.I will probably end up...

I picked up a m818 2 weeks ago,recieved my sf-97 yesterday.

I have a 5 ton pto and linkage for sale.No driveshaft.

No the front was not moved,I moved the rear axle back.

Thats my old truck,sold it last week.

I have mine tagged historic.Sneak around,avoid scales.I have a cdl class A license but refuse to tag it commercial only to use it a couple of times a year.Ill take my chances,I ve paid hefty fines before.
