My ‘92 M934A2 works great off road. I’ve taken mine deep into the woods of central PA in February for our annual winter camping trip. Negotiating around trees is a problem due to the size of the truck, but it has no problem knocking down small trees or going though deep mud. Our camp site is in...
Success! The rubber fuel line going from the water separator to the lift pump was dry rotted and leaking. I didn't noticed it at first. Had another one fabbed up at Ace hardware, installed it, bleed and primed the IP and the truck started right up!
Thanks everyone for the troubleshooting ideas...
My CTIS lights all started flashing a couple months before my truck failed to run. I checked for air leaks, but couldn't find any. Anytime I drove my truck, all of the CTIS lights would start flashing almost immediately and would not stop. Could this mean my PCB is going out?
Thanks
I have a 1992 M934A2 5 Ton 6X6 expansible van with the 6CTA 8.3L Cummins Turbo diesel. When I bought the truck, it would fire up and run like a champ each and every time I would start it. Now all of a sudden, all it will do is turn over, but not stay running. I've already replaced the fuel...
Update: Finally got my MV registered and road legal! Been driving her off and on for a couple weeks now. Snow, NO PROBLEM! LOL A blast to drive, with lots of looks and waves!!
Good luck on your trip and stay safe! If you haven't done so already, install a CB radio in your truck. It will make the trip a lot easier with truckers to talk to along the way. And your daughter should get a kick out of it also!
Thanks, but I don't think either of those hitches will drop down far enough. I found a Curt weld on hitch (class V) for up to 15,000 lbs that will work perfectly...
UPDATE: Picked up my MV from the inspection station yesterday and it passed!! Wooo Hooooo!! Now I can register "THE BEAST"! I had to add 5 amber cab lights, amber clearance lights to the front corners of the van, red clearance lights to the rear corners of the van, 3 red ID lights between the...
Update: Had my 5 ton inspected and it FAILED! **** Maryland and its liberal laws!! Now I have to add a bunch of lights to my MV. 3 red lights in the back between the taillights, Amber corner lights at the very top of the van and red corner lights on the rear of the van. 5 cab lights and...
Does anyone know where I can find a new Drag Link/Tie Rod for my M934A2? My MV failed MD state inspection due to one of the joints having to much play in it.
It was difficult finding the NSN and part number for the part because the TM 9-2320-272-10 has a picture of the part and calls it a "Drag...
The Baltimore City Council has denied my application to drive my M934A2 in the Veteran's Day March on November 11th. They said that it's a march and not a parade. Oh well, I offered and had at least one person who was interested in joining. I say it's their lost and I will support my fellow...
I have a 1992 BMY M934A2 5Ton 6X6 Expansible and have looked all over the truck for the Registration Number, but can't find it! Any ideas of where else I can look? I've checked the doors, dash, cab, under the hood, nothing with a Registration Number.
Thanks,
Charley
Does anyone know of place that has a 2 inch receiver mount for my 5 ton? I want to remove the pintal hitch and install a 2 inch receiver to tow my boat.
