Removing the harness came out like you said. I pulled from the outside to get the grommet to pull out. Then cut harness on back side of grommet. I did it this way because the aftermarket a/c box was almost touching inside firewall. Pulled the grommet off and took a hack saw and...
I'm heading out to the shop to give it a try. The owner has everything under the sun installed on this M1009. Stereo, cruse control, indash air condition and keep finding more, so room is tight.
This was one thing that was wrong with my CTIS. After replacing two sets of axle wheel air seals (fun job) this was my final problem. One of the three tiny wires was broken off at the top of the metal terminal. What some folks don't realize the terminals plug in backwards into the plastic plug...
I had two air seals that came out of there seat and caused my air leak issues. Each wheel hub has two air seals. The best way to check this is, run truck till CTSI does air checks around 120 psi. Then shut truck off, flip leavers on but do not start engine. Have second person climb under truck...
After three months of studying, checking, changing out two hubs of air seals that came loose and much help from you men. I finally got the CTIS working yesterday after reading a post by those military guys rob. It's hard to believe that one little tiny wire would prevent the CTIS from working...

Just got seal driver and a surprise driver as a bonus boxed up. Will take to post office in the morning. Hope you can use both tools.

After sitting about day or so my 923 refuses to crank. I have to crack bleeder on IP and hand pump lift pump to purge air out to solid fuel. Just wondering if lift pump has a one way check valve in it to prevent drain back.
Found this one on flea-bay. Not sure if this the correct one???? http://www.ebay.com/itm/281124830124?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Does anyone know where to purchase a Overflow Return Valve the one that mounts on the drivers side of the injector pump (takes a 3/4'' wrench to remove) on the fuel return line. Not sure of the model of the injector pump, the year of the truck is a 1990 with the 8.3 Cummins.
