Hmmm..do you like low flying aircraft?....then here ya go!

C-5 aka C-5A = Galaxy C-141 = Starlifter Nope, I don't know the location. There aren't too many runways around that are long enough for even that short run-out then re-accelerating to a safe rotation speed. It is some purty country though, isn't it? I am not an expert on engine sounds but...

Hmmm..do you like low flying aircraft?....then here ya go!

I know that touch-n-go's are not exactly "LOW FLYING", but you've got to admit, when you're doing it is a C-5 it IS impressive.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anANJMVpxT0&index=4&list=UUAdN9s9MrsX0BVdz4XZAhaA Shazam!

Alternater Output under 20Volts - Suggestions?

I didn't mean to seem harsh. I am just sometimes amazed that some threads - trains of thought if you will - sort of run their course after a while. Then, someone searching out their own needed answers stumbles upon a dormant thread and either contributes new wisdom or simply makes their mark...

    WHAT?!? $582.00 Won Us an XM818 Tractor ! ! !

To satisfy your curiosity, Sir.... Not long after getting the Deuce, the Soft Top started to shed the insulation from its inside surfaces. The layer of black foam was breaking down and a fine black grit would circulate in the cab whenever there was a breeze... as in driving over 15-20 mph...

    WHAT?!? $582.00 Won Us an XM818 Tractor ! ! !

WOW - It's hard to believe that this thread had gone dormant for some seven weeks! Not to toss y'all an excuse, but in that time we've been spending time helping Dianna's mom search for and purchase a retirement home here in San Angelo, (retiring over the next three years from Alamogordo, New...

    Registering/tags M923 in Texas

Blitz: Are you talking to one of the registration clerks or to the actual County Tax Assessor/Collector? If only a clerk, then schedule an appointment with the ELECTED OFFICIAL in charge of the process - the County Tax Assessor/Collector. If in talking to him/her you are still not satisfied...

Official '15 Ga. Rally Multimedia thread

Your post reminds me of the Audie Murphy GI Joe thread..... I'll have to get him out again and add to his exploits.

Hmmm..do you like low flying aircraft?....then here ya go!

Though not exactly "Low Flying", this is certainly one mission that requires precision and skill..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJHlXe_RnYo This is FANTASTIC!!!!!! I can hear the pilots praying, "No wind God, please no wind!" ... I'm sitting in the safety of my home and can...

    Registering/tags M923 in Texas

First of all..... Welcome aboard :D Find a bunk, stow your gear, and prepare to get underway :driver: Now that that's been said..... My best advice is to read and digest the Texas FMV Laws thread linked in my signature block below. Much research and time was invested in that thread so that...

MV meet in Or around Fort Worth, TX?

Depending on date, it's a possibility for Dianna and I. Our daughter lives in Carrollton and we "need" to visit sometime during the holiday season. It "could" work out.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I see numerous parts on that carcass that have value on the used parts market. Even at scrap prices, they could be donor "organs" to save the lives of other MVs. Has it gone to the scrapper already?????

    m923a2 withdrawls bummed and regrets...

James, Your original post could be the beginnings of a Hallmark Hall of Fame tear-jerker movie. We may be Green Iron Addicts, but our hearts for these Steel Soldiers are sentimental indeed. Each of us, I'm sure, can reflect on our lives and cite some regretted decisions. Don't dwell on your...
