I happened to win auctions from both of these companies to be picked up at Camp Lejeune.
Randy and Felix both went the extra mile to coordinate both pickups on the same day, so that I would not have to make two trips.
It's probably a 7 hour trip for me in the deuce (one way). Can't express...
Ok, sorry to necro an old thread, but I'd like to see if the wisdom applied in this thread applies to my situation:
Driving in traffic, I generally downshift to 3rd or 2nd when coming to a stop at a light. If the light is a long one, I might shift into neutral and release the clutch to save...
Yep I was able to look at it this morning (last night by the time I wrapped up, it was pitch black, and I don't have a shop.. So the lighting wasn't the best)
I believe you are right, and they go to the window regulator. Kinda strange that not one TM or parts exploded view shows screws going...
Been driving mine daily since I got it last weekend. Normally it would be my bad weather vehicle though. If it's half decent weather, I'm on the Streetglide.
On the door just above the access panel, there are two screws (kind of on a diagonal.)
Do they attach to the window regulator? I can't see any screws in that location in the parts tm.
I pulled them out by mistake when I was removing my door latch, and now I can't get 'em back in.
The...
I installed lockout hubs tonight, and adjusted the wheel bearing nut on a rear that was running too hot after a new brake cylinder, shoes, bearing pack, and seals. 'Course when I pulled the axle, the gasket tore. So I'll be replacing that tomorrow.
I'm a total ignoramus when it comes to these trailers - on a scale of 1 to 10, where would you rate the importance of the 2 wheel landing leg?
I guess the single wheeled ones take two people?
In the 500 dollar range. I won some ammo cans that I have to pick up next week, so I figure if I can get an m105 cheap from the same base I'll go ahead and do it.
I was thinking of trying for an m105 trailer to go with the deuce.
I see that there are several manufacturers of these trailers. Pribbs, Eastern Technologies, and Turtle Mountain are the three I've come across so far. Are any of these more desirable than the others?
Thanks guys
Mrs. Boolitcaster and this goat were helping Ferroequinologist with some last minute fixes.
New and improved. Now with 100% more brakes! (Thanks Ferroequinologist!)

Adam, it was...
I'm planning on coming. Probably coming up Saturday and staying Saturday night.
It'll be my first ever MV event.
I'll have plenty of 30 cal ammo cans.
Maybe looking for deuce cargo hoops and canvas, if the price isn't going to give me a heart attack.
