But hey. Dumping 300 in one week will make it all better. It's all about the money. GP does not care how fast you get approved they don't have to pay the 75% to the gov until the unit is picked up. So if it is 3 months they have your money they make a bit off it as well at the 10% processing...
I agree that the prices would go up a good deal if you know you would have all your paperwork in a reasonable time. If I was worried about having to title mine I would not mind a few weeks after I got it to do the prep work before getting the title and going out to play.
Having to wait months...
Buyers yes but they will end up being 300 more pissed off buyers and the prices sure will not be what they were last time. The statement was geared towards the fact that they can't come close to keeping up with approving EUCs and in a brilliant move they plan to dump 300 in a week. Just goes to...
Hope they get things worked out before the "Fall HUMVEE sale" nothing says good business like having such an issue with EUCs and SF-97s and dumping 300 in one week. Brilliant.
May rent the U-Haul, not like they will know what I am putting on it. Cost is only $58 for the day.
Probably much safer. It would be fun to pull my M998 with my M1038 though, the looks I would get haha
This weekend is the New Garden Airshow in New Garden PA.
They have a great show and many military birds there..
They have a section for MVs and you get in for free...
Just in case anyone is close to the area and bored..
Sorry for the short notice

65 mph was fine, Figured the M1113 would take it. I was not driving though...
The M1113 is a bit heavier than an M998 so my truck would probably have less issues. Just trying to decide, take the truck or take the HUMVEE.
If I had easy access to a trailer that it would fit on I would do that...
I have towed pretty heavy things before, my Chevy 1500 did fine other than tight turns. We did about 200 miles at 65 mph.
This one is only 1.5 hours away and the main question was should I use the 1500 again or take my other HUMVEE.
I thought about renting the U-Haul but it states to be 1" to...
Flat Towing a HUMVEE
Wanted to see who else has flat towed a HUMVEE. I towed an M1113 with my Chevy Silverado 1500 once, all I can say is DON'T it pushed the truck around more than once...
Whenever my EUC clears I will be going to get an M998 and was thinking about flat towing it with my...
It came from GL, just the motor. Got it home and could see there was a good deal of oil that had come through the #2 cylinder, exhaust was pretty sooty as were the valves...
During the process of opening it up to see what the cause was, as if it was a hole in the piston I would have sold it for...
In the end it is not GP that is holding up the EUCs they seem to get them off to TSC pretty fast. That has now put them in the middle of a bad situation. That said corrective actions need to be taken by GP to either inform people of the issue, stop selling items that need an EUC until the...
Just my two cents, Soft or hard doors really depend on intended use of it. Unless you are just going on looks alone. I have soft doors on mine but come winter I am sure X Doors will be on my list of I got to get.
If you are just going to play in the mud and dirt and drive around fields, I do...
The issue is someone ran gas through it. I will have it back together this weekend but wanted to make sure I did not overlook anything obvious someone may know about before I do.
If it had a starter with it I would have just run it to see if it cleared up but hey it was fun for my son and I to...
The contract between GP and the gov is available online, was reading it last night. Part of the contract states that TSC would provide a decision within 45 days. As we can see that is not the case for many people.
In the GP facts doc it used to say if there was no decision within 45 days you...
So I was told that about 20 EUCs were approved this week. So if they are sending an average of 100 a week and getting 20 ish back and right now they are at about a 2 month turn around time, each week will add about another month to the waiting period.
Unless this gets resolved really soon...
