I guess there is a different CDR for HMMWV with the deep water fording kits. I would like to see if I can get it running this week, what are people's thoughts on just using a regular for a short time ( few minutes / hours of run time ) until I get the Deep Water Fording version?
Well here it is! I guess the reason it needs "jump" to get started was b/c there were no batteries! I am planning on just getting 2x group 24 batteries from Costco, unless there is a better suggestion. The things is of course incredibly filthy, is there is special precautions I should take when...
Thanks, I am not going to try and figure out if I should try and register it in NV or try the dirt legal thing and also figure out insurance... Also, waiting for the SF-97 that I didn't realize will take 30-60 days after the EUC has been approved....
That was much faster than I expected, the EUC cleared faster than expected and the truck is on the way, hopefully being delivered today.

Thanks guys! This is what I got, seemed like a reasonable deal. This will be for moving heavy things in difficult off road conditions so I don't plan on doing much to it other than get it running well.
