with respect to the exhuast, could ou not tie into the OEM exhaust of the truck usng a T- type fitting in the main pipe somewhere that the gen exhaust can clamp to? it would help direct both sound and fumes up and away from the truck

it actully wouldnt require that much work but heres a crude diagram on a simple system to perform what you would need to do. create a new link set up axle to bogie so that the front and rear axles pivot on the bogie independently via the new links, on the top of that install a main bracket...

not too much of an expert on the electrical, but could you not branch off the headlight circut into a relay that energizes the park lamps circut when you turn on the headlamps?.

commercial fuel account allows for cheaper rates, as well as fuel is a deductable business expense :)

i dont have the manuals in front of me but i will have a look after supper and see if i can find a wiring schematic of the back up alarm/light circut from the trans to the alarm/light, as well as the location of the main trigger switch

IIRC there is a "back up alarm overide" switch on the dash, check to make sure that it is not in the active position
