Found this old critter, but its not a typical GMC 5500. It has Deuce rims, air over hydraulic breaks, Rockwell axles. and many other interesting "upgrades?....."
Couldn't find a data plate but it appears to be an auger/drill truck possibly for setting poles. The derek and drill have been...
Might be a little soon. Have to get the troops rounded up...... we move a little slow on this site. Any others? I'll have to pm some people this weekend to get their attention. ...
A few people have shown interest in another get together.
I have traditionally had one on Father's day weekend in the past. Probably a different weekend will be better to allow time for planning and such. I am now in Dexter and will play host.
I'm open for suggestions on a good weekend...
A deuce will pull a nine ton trailer, however it is under powered. Plenty of low gears to work with but slower than death on a hill. Most military trucks were designed to haul loads in the bed instead of on a trailer, as trailers off road don't work well. Should handle short hauls ok if your...

Fine tuneing...

tourus, no trouble. its hard to plan arround everyones schedules. several regulars were cought up in other plans. I keep useing Fathers day weekend so its a memorable date every year so...
Its more of a show, I had plans for a small off road course, but divorce and moving changed that. This year Im trying something different, we will see how it goes, and plan from there.
there should be a coupl from southern Maine to convoy with.
As usual Be prepaired for a rustic type stay. (Dont want to impose to heavily on the store) but proper rest rooms will be available during store hours. after hours we fend for ourselves. I will bring an EZ-up type tent incase of a shower and a portable gas grill for cooking. Bring your own food...
Sorry for the delay, busy weekend. I was getting nervous that it was only going to be one or two. Starting to sound a bit better.
Drinking will be after store hours, in moderation of course, dont want to stir thing up to much.
I have seen several Military Cushmans, a couple in camo, one...
