i tried looking at the manuals listed in the resources with no luck. my truck is a M51A2, 6 X 6, 5 TON, 5th Wheel Tractor , i believe. if you could point me in the right direction i would appreciate it
there is a air cyclinder with air lines running to the transfer case. does this still use the sprag? or is it like a duece air shift? im real confused, but eager to learn.
i need to find a air line diagram. i bought a 5 ton truck that is a wreck. i was abandoned by loggers, that bad. . i started tracing the air lines to repair leaks and to get the brakes working. well it is so bad that they have actually ran air line to the brake wheel cylinders.i cant get it to...
harbor freight has a 24/12 volt battery charger for around $50.00. i bought 1 about 3 months age and love it. it is chinese, but the only other 24 volt one i found where over $250. i used to charge them one at a time but this is a lot better.
my exhaust has rusted off, right behind the connection to the turbo. where can i find something that will clamp in there? if i get the rolled edge peice i can redo the rest of the damaged exhaust. i just dont know what to call that peice or where to find it at. it is connected to a peice of flex...

RE: Re: air system
how do you adjust it? when i first got the truck it would pump up 90 psi. now it only goes to 75 psi. im not lokking to blow it up, just get it back to 90 so my steering works better.
can someone tell me how the air system works. expecially what sets the max psi. i assume some sort of regulator. i have done away with my air brakes because of too many problems. i beleive if i can boost my pressure a little my air assist steering will work better. thanks in advance
