The propane tank door has since been repainted with a darker color and I found the Hat on Ebay. I'll use it for parades. Also I have to give the furnace another coat of paint. I was also very lucky to find a booster cable setup with the Nato plug.

If it runs as good as it looks I think it would be worth the money. If you don't like the box I'm sure you could get a dually box for a decent price.

Unfortunately I don't have 24 volt anymore so it will be a small RV furnace for me and possibly a 110 volt AC unit. Today I ordered my Detroit Locker for the rear. Should be here in a few days. A previous owner(not the last one) switched out the rear and front ends when he switched to 4.11...

Wow! your conversion looks great. If your gonna do it you may as well do it right the first time.

This week I just finished installing a 4 gauge dashpod and a new set of Goodyear Duratracs size 285-75R-16. As I now have 4.11 gears I decided to go that size. Hitting around 3000 rpm at about 60mph.

I'm either going to install an O/D tranny or an O/D adapter at some point. I hate driving at 3000 rpm. Not so bad for a short trip but really works the engine on a long one.

Man knows his stuff! I was two weeks trying to figure out what the blue box was for until I read his post. Now my M1010 runs great with no charging issues.

How difficult was the tranny swap? That would be something I would be interested in for sure. My Duratracs are 33.1 inches tall which is fine with the gears I have.

I do have a 4 inch lift but with 4.11 gears the 35's would have really slowed her down. But I was very tempted. Previous owner switched out the 4.56 axles and put in 4.11's. Now I gotta look for a Detroit Locker for the rear as He took that as well.

So this weekend I am installing a new thermostat, changing the diff oils, and starting on the winch and RV furnace install. The winch is a Warn 12000 that I got from a friend of mine. For some reason he decided to paint it black. It will require some cleaning but works perfect. I may change it...

just finished installing a 4 gauge dash pod with 4 autometer gauges. . Transmission temperature, water temp, voltmeter and oil pressure. Also started to install my 285 75R 16 Goodyear Duratracs. Pics forthcoming.
