Can anyone verify the year model of this M1114 based on Vin. 223239?
I’m thinking around 2005…

***Findings Update: Pulled the pan today, and to my surprise, found the problem almost instantly. The electrical connector to pressure control solenoid was disconnected. It was likely hit and moved when I reinstalled the transmission pan. It is a very tight fit to get the pan on around the...
Good Morning Friends 😁
Hoping someone could share their experience on the following.
2000 M1123
1. Changed transmission filter and fluid when I got it home from Albany. All good for 1,000 miles. Recently it has developed a 1.5 second engagement delay after 60 seconds of running. This is a delay...
Ronmar, you are amazing. Thank you so much for the encouragement. I couldn’t have done this valve adjustment without your help! I wish you the best karma man! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
The engine runs much better now after valve adjustment and injector timing adjustment. Holds 50 mph pretty well on flat ground...
Thank you, and yes I do have the bracket, in photo below.
I’m finding some of the injectors are set at 2.60in. Would this cause issue?
Is this correct specs for valve timing?
.38mm intake valve
.64mm exhaust valve
Working on the valves as we speak.
Great eye on the missing bolt in the bracket under power steering pump!
I’ve got the truck back working on timing the injectors as we speak. I’m going off the spec listed on the valve cover but I’m confused. There are two data plates. One says (aluminum)3126 and the other says 3116? The...
I dropped the truck of today at a local diesel mechanic just to get an opinion. If he thinks it needs timing, I may try to do it myself. Re shot exhaust temps at flange

I really would like to do it myself. The engine sounds like it has a fuel knock and is...
Thank you very much for the help. Yes, I’ve watch some of the videos on injector sync and it looks a bit more in depth than I have time to work on it.
Did you have to get special tooling to check injector timing?
1. The primer bulb does get firm
2. Fuel pressure is 20 idle 60psi when rev
3. Exhaust manifold temps:
1 197
2 265
3 371
4 355
5 297
6 217
Here is a pic of where I tested.
Replaced suction lines to tank due to dry rot and possible air leak in line. Still smoking white and low power. Below is a photo of the dry rotted fuel lines. Any ideas?
Picked up 1081 yesterday from Gov planet fayetville lot. Flat towed home. Charged batteries, primed fuel, started right up. Small amount of fuel smoke, thinking it needs and injector. A little sluggish but shifts to all 7 gears.
