    Yes oil and filter were changed at the same time the injector was. Guess it was just too far gone. Strange but there was no symptom before it blew. No noise nothing till it let go. Maybe a 4bt as I understand the 6bt requires a body lift and other modifications

    Tightened up, fired up and smoked out the neighborhood on the way out to the national forest. After about 10 minutes full throttle at varying intervals the majority of the smoke is gone. Still get a puff every once in a bit but much improved. Now onto my original problem of the AC system before...

    Sounds like there is an intermittent misfire. I rechecked all the injectors and they are all working now where as before not so much.

    Injector has been replaced. The smoking isn’t nearly as bad but it’s still there at idle and noticeable above idle but not as bad as before. Next I figure compression testing is in order. I am thinking maybe the stuck injector damaged that cylinder.

    Yes I was getting a knocking noise. I plan on an oil change as well in short order.

    M Makes perfect sense. These injectors are a little different than the HEUI injection system I am familiar with. Would the leaking injector also explain why I had what looked like smoke coming out the loose intake gasket?

    Alright found the wet glow plug. Can I make the assumption that injector is bad? Or could it still be a head problem? I appreciate the responses. I apologize if some of my questions seem redundant. When I log in sometimes y’all’s replies don’t show up until I post something.

    Smoke did not stop when I cracked the line. I may very well have more issues with other injectors.

    Of course I don’t have that tool yet. Good excuse to get one. Passenger side 2nd one from the front. Not the best spot. Any suggestions on a good source for the injectors. All the ones I find are for a turbo.

    Alright I found one cylinder that makes the idle worse when it’s tight. When I loosen that injector the cylinder idle drops slightly but the idle overalll is better. There is also a knock I am getting from it but not consistently when the injector is snugged up. The knock definitely subsided...
