Looking for a thermostat for 6.5 naturally aspirated. Stock military one and gasket. Also need radiator cap. If anyone knows where I can get one and if it's the same as the 6.2 I appreciate it.

If anyone else has input for onboard air systems, where you mounted it, if you stayed 24v or 12v, what size etc, I appreciate the input. Not really interested in the CTIS at this time, though I know it's a great option.

So what weight rating do you recommend for pretty stock hmmwv that weighs 5-6k lbs? Should I go for a rope that can handle 25-30k lbs or more? What size would that be?

Getting the 10,500 lb hydraulic winch soon for the hmmwv. Any one put the synthetic rope on it? Any reason to NOT switch from the stock steel wire? Any specific brands recommended for the synthetic rope?

Good point retiredwarhorses and patracy. I'm working on the trans swap now, so once that's done I'll drive that for a while and then decide down the road and keep an eye out on a good deal on a TD if I even want it.

I searched but couldn't find answers. I know someone put one on a civy h1, but had anyone put a supercharger on the n/a 6.5? Is there a kit? Does it require a body lift? Any info would help.
