My apologies as this is only my second day on this site. As far as I am knowledgeable about the nomenclature of military vehicles I am not! My tour was 1963 to 1969 and I was a grunt, so I didn't ride much and sure as hell I was not bothered about the trucks only that we could ride... not walk...
I have a 1966 Ford F600 (Standard 2 ton) which has 825/20 rims and tires. I am wanting to put military tires on the vehicle and I am wondering if it would be safer to find someone who could make 4 adapters for me. I am 77 but still a novice at this wheel conversion thing.
I am looking for 4 each --- 6 lug to 10 lug adapters. Would anyone know where I could find them, or have them fabricated? I am wanting to replace 8.25x20 with Humvee wheels. I will need something substantial,
