I ended up buying a NOS 18" one from Memphis Eq on Ebay for $150 and free shipping. The old one come off rather easy and the new one when on without a problem. Thank you all for your input.
You are on it Adrian. Same thing I had going on with an M936. Pulled the linkage pin form the foot pedal and worked it back and forth with copious amounts of panther piss (penetrating oil). No more high idle/sticking pedal. Good luck.
I'm a proud new owner of M936A2 wrecker that has an electrical issue. The battery cutoff switch doesn't always cut off the battery. Sometimes you can start it in the off position. I'm assuming this is a faulty switch, but before I go after it I wanted to see if anyone has had a similar...
Thanks Putz. I didn't realize the wedge steering actually used the kingpin as a pivot point. I definitely don't want to screw that up. Did you fab your own hat box? Does it accommodate the wedge to steer the unit on a commercial truck?

Has anyone actually been charged storage fees? Having the same issues at Fort Hood and the site manager has been pretty accommodating for my shipper and even offered to allow pick up on "off" days.

I took out the M1070 for a cruise and my speedometer crapped out. I have the dual gauge dash cluster and have noticed that utilizes an electronic speedo. Does anyone have any experience with these or know where I can get my hands on a wire diagram so that I can check the connections? Any help...
