I have 2 MEP-005a's that the fill neck rubber hose has deteriorated so much that they leak when fueling. I am having a hard time finding a replacement for this , has anyone found anything that will work for this ? Thanks, Ant

I found the issue - the cam shaft sheared between the injector lobe and the injector timing gear. I can't believe it sheared with 6 hours on it, or that it was able to run like that. Is this an interference engine ? If not I might try and slide a new cam in. Is it possible to put a new cam in...

The genset had a new Melton engine put in 10/2006, do you think it's possible that the cam is bad ? That's the only thing I can think of. I'd hate to tear the whole engine down and have it be something else. Any thoughts ? Thanks, Ant

Every time I put the injector pump on I lined up the flywheel to "PC" on the compression stroke on #1 cylinder.

The first few times at the injector, but the next few times at the pump. It starts hard but runs runs on #1 and with #2's line off there is no fuel coming from the pump. Thanks, Ant

There was nothing anywhere saying they were demil - they are sending me a form 97 for it. I don't think I have seen any demil items on GSA's site. ant

I spoke with the person responsible for listing them and asked about the other two. He said that they were already sold to a state agency back in January but they hadn't picked them up yet.

It ended at $18,566, I wanted to keep it under 20k. The 2 pics they had on the listing are all I have for now, but I will take many more !
