    Snafu, good one.

Considering the drum is bell shaped it would have made a left turn immediately upon hitting the ground and then probably tumbled from the forward momentum. I would look not too far from the point of departure and not too far off the left side of the road assuming the road is fairly level. You...

Question about GL auction posting rule

What I was looking at was a front axle for an Oshkosh snowplow. I don't have one, kind of wish i did but no way could I afford it. The thing is I remember a while back there was a discussion about how it was impossible to find parts for one of these axles and here was one complete NOS. I sort of...

    For you Electrical GuRu's

GE, Speaking from the neutral side of the fence I have to say that a lot of your posts are rather opinionated also. "my way or no way" type of posts. I think it just goes with the personalities that we have here. A lot of ex and current military with very strong opinions. Maddawg is a good guy...

    6.2 locked up

Just keep in mind that you are putting a turbo from an engine with 18:1 compression onto an engine with 23:1 compression. Just saying. There is a reason they lowered the compression for the turbo engines. Rick

I lost my Teeth! A Must See!

You say it was a fire truck, I have seen a lot of blown rears in off road fire trucks due to the weight of a water tank and an inexperienced driver shifting into all wheel drive before leaving the pavement. Then turning on the pavement, something has to give. Usually it is an axle but I have...

And yes, CARC paint is very hazardous to remove. Lots of heavy metals and other nasty stuff in it. I don't have any safe and legal removal suggestions. Rick

I slacked off this year and forgot my camera everywhere I went so I have nothing to offer this year. I did take it to the dinner but my hands were full the whole time I was...
