Dear Cranetruck......
I'll give the #356 bulb a try, as it is, I can read the tachometer really well and the speedo not so well, but since January 2008 I've put 4,500 miles on her, so I have a good idea what RPM's in what gear equals what MPH...

I guess, since my M35A2 is Wo/W, my solution to your problem might have been two (2) deuce snatch blocks, one chained to a tree and the other attached to an extraction strap attached to the stuck trucks rear bumper, with the free end of the cable siezed up around...

Dear Warthog:
Congratulations on the A3 score!!! If your CTIS doesn't let you down, and you run Diesel only in your Cat, you oughta be good to go..... Wish I had one that new... On the M35A2 that I own, with a diversified fuel mixture...

Dear Will:
As always, your eminence has come up with just the right idea..... I am still working on the length of the flag-sticks, and the Army seems to have intended a small screw eye, probably on the upper 1" or so, to pass...

I will agree, and disagree with much of what's being said above...... :P Having said that.... I USE MY DEUCE DAILY for work!!! Sure it rides hard, sure it ain't got fresh fish AC (OPEN THE WINDSHIELDS- it works in 104+* Texas heat), No power steering, No lift gate...

Gentlemen:
I am seeking working drawings or sketches for the demountable flag holders used on the left front bumper of the M35A2 to mount the convoy flags...(Or if someone has one they want to sell????)? I am also seeking information on the...

If the armor's brittle, you might not want to play bumper tag with a deuce!!! As a blacksmith, it always interests me in finding out how various steels/alloys age, and given the various impacts your V-100 had on the range, I'd say just about any one of those hits...

Try Nationwide Mutual or one of it's affiliates.... In West Virginia and Texas they insure my Unimog and my Deuce each for less then what I used to pay (last year) on a 1989 Ford F250 4X4 PU, they know what they weigh, the size and number or axles and the...

3,489 Words? You think he might be a relative of Leo Tolstoy's?? :) I figure that's gotta be the publisher's sample for a new War and Peace.....
I can't speak for the U.S.Army, but in Uncle Sam's National Park Service..... They never depreciate anything....!
I had...

Gentlemen:
I hope this landed in the right department, but does anyone have any thoughts on the best way to repair deuce steering wheel cracks??? :? My 1971...

Learned Seers of the Duece:
Just a minor question about the D.C.Electronics, Aurora, Ill turn signal unit No. PN:M620691/1-2-11613632? This is the one with a serrated end lower lever underneath the main turn signal...

If you don't mind the tiny bubbles, dish soap or dish soap and water works well to lubricate the windshield gaskets and get them in the groove, plus it may be less harmful to the windshield gaskets over the long term.....
Just my 2cents worth, based on retrofitting...

[thumbzup] FINALLY!!!!! There's something my 1971 Kaiser Jeep M35A2 can OUTRUN!!!!!! AT least, on the level!!!! [thumbzup] [thumbzup] [thumbzup] WHO HOOOO!!!!
I guess the guys at GL didn't tell you that the top end on the M35A series runs normally about 53-56 MPH, but...

Gunchief 113:
You say that you are looking for the -20 manuals for the HMMWV? I know its up in the trees, but consider talking to either your state's US Senator(s) or congressmen, also the state surplus property...

Gentlemen:
Uncle never overpays!!!!Never, Never, Ever! I have never seen him overpay!!!! In 1968 we were buying heavy duty White Construcktors with Raven bodies for about the same price as a deuce dump truck, and they were fairly comparable...

Sarge:
You are a tougher Iron-BUTT then that USMC bike!!! I rather doubted any two cycle could stand that much running at high speed :? , but I was more worried about you..... The story...
RE: Tooting my students
August 2nd, 2008.
So what happens to the animal when your class is done with it??? I'm not as fond of the HMMWV as the deuce, but I have found that the type of work you and your students are doing, does tend to broaden out the thinking process while...

Snatch the pebble from my hand and you shall be ready to go, Grasshopper. [thumbzup] The condition codes seem to have no relevance to the actual condition, good or bad, of the item in question. My 1971Kaiser Jeep M35A2 was "H-7'd", as was my M105A2 trailer...
RE: dangerous truck
August 2nd, 2008. :?
Gentlemen:
I would go with Armyman30yearsplus comments just above. It may be prudent to use an M149 water buffalo, or a stripped M105A2 frame with additional tank, to lighten the load up on the deuce for off road work. The...

Dear David:
Likely I would check the coil first, then the points.... Unimogs are notorious for eating their points when run at road speeds, and I would also consider when doing the civillian conversion that the distributor cap (NEW) spacer is...
