UK CCKW Photo Blog Update
Hi everyone. I've added quite a few trucks since I posted last. Now up to a total of 352 ! :)
The Blog stats make quite interesting reading:

Hey guys, about a month ago I started a GMC CCKW Photo Blog to record the CCKWs in the UK that I had spotted.
Since then I've expanded it by incorprrating other peoples photos as well into a mission to try and record all the CCKWs seen in the UK. As I type this I have 201 recorded...

Recently stumbled across a link to this fascinating piece of film showing CCKWs being assembled from parts in the UK during the war. :)

I'm afraid I've no ideas on traders who do flags, however there should be loads at War In Peace. Are you planning on going ? A thought occurs, have you looked on E-Bay ?
Kind regards

Hi John
Did you make it to Newark ? I was there myself, but only had time for a quick 30min dash. Did you see the sign selling a GMC 353 ? I know the seller a bit, it would be a good purchase probably.
Kind regards

Opps, sorry Ron, I should have included links.
The Historic Military Vehicle Forum (HMVF) is the main military forum in the UK, although it does have members from all over the world.
MILWEB is the main sales site for vehicles in the UK.
Both are well worth checking out :)
Kind regards

I'm on the HMVF as well with the same Username :)
I'll be at Newark as well, although not for more than an hour, probably some time between 10 and 11.
What time are you arriving ?

Airborne tippers are v rare so it would certainly be worth checking out. Not a bad price. If you are serious, send me a PM, and we can chat on the phone :)

a) will it start ?
b) what will go wrong when I'm out in it?
c) will I make it home, or will I end up being recovered ? LOL :)
For those interested, here are a few postings of some of the things...
Hi Guys
