Does anyone know if this unit requires pressurized fuel (ie a fuel pump) or if it draws of a fuel supply line?
I talked to gent that is selling the heater and he think it needs a small pump in line but said he has know 1st hand knowledge of that.

I saw a heater for sale today. It was a southwind model 978-m 24 volt unit. I've done a little research and It seems like it was mounted in a number of different vehicle. Kinda looked like a universal unit.
Just looking for a little info.

thanks guys, this is the help I was looking for. the rubbing isn't all that bad so I'll start with patracy"s advice and loosen all the clamps and try to slide it up. I'll keep you up to speed with how it works. eagle4g63 copying the a3 pipe is what I should do someday.
I don't know how I feel about two different people being charged different rates to register the same rig. But I will look into weather I can register a bobbed deuce as an antique. Antique plate BELOME I like it!

Can you try driving the truck around with the drive flanges off? This should give you the same effect as unlocking hubs and you can then determine if the benefits are worth the investment.
