I replaced the master cylinder on my M52A2 with anew one and rebuilt the air pack because of a air leak in to the vent system .
I used a vacuum bleeder that runs off of compressed air from a gas powered compressor I pulled from the right rear wheel cylinder .
that worked real good the peddle...
Looking at the double shackle set up on the m-211 front axle maybe making a new front spring mount that drops down to keep the right pinion level and lets the spring pin in with out the shackle .
The torque rods would not be needed.
Back when I bought my M211 I was checking the gear oil on the axles and found chunks that would not come out the drain hole so I pulled the third member and found teeth from a previous ring and pinion that was replaced with out cleaning out the housing .
The torque rods used on trailers is only one inch shorter then the torque rods used on trucks .
trailer 28 1/4 black
truck 29 1/4 green
maybe at one time the wrong torque rods where used

After getting the right socket and trying to bump what I thought locking tabs back I see that they all have been welded together .

I started taking my park brake on my M52a2 apart to replace the drum shoes and check how true every turns .The drum must have had a damaged spot or high spot that would hit the drum after I adjusted it .
When my M52a2 had a Multi fuel adding the spin on filters where great no more guessing on how much oil was still in the filters .
The filters stayed full and the dip stick checked the oil level in the pan.
Level would be better your rear axle now can't have much travel till it hits the axle stop putting the weight on one axle or putting the tire in to the trailer. I hope it works .
Once the lock ring has been started you can use your heel to push or stomp them on . its the easiest part of the whole job. Thank you for posting the pictures .
I one time turned my M52a2 off changed a tire and went to start it and nothing found out one batteries failed in side and I was only getting 12 volts not 24 volts. check them not hooked together .
