Let it run with the radiator cap off and watch the neck. Start it and as it heats up, should see air bubbles come out. Once the bubbles are practically gone and it's a steady flow that is wanting to come out, you got the air out. Typically when full, the coolant should be in the neck of the...
I've seen lots of colors and ideas on different restorations, but that yellow on the clevises and winch chain is different and just pops, looks really good!
Memorial day parade in Walker. Tons of fun and the best part, we had people cheering and clapping and tons of kids were loving that air horn! See this is why you know you want to vote for Crispy for the MV of the month, it's all about them smiles per gallon baby!
Man, that's a good score! I don't think we can have too many spare parts for our MV's, but I'm sure many spouses would have a different opinion 😆.
Those snatch blocks are good addition as well since it's difficult to find good MV blocks for our trucks, especially at a decent price point.

It's some nasty stuff, very strong caustic type chemical. Stripp d the powder coat off my knives in ten minutes or less. Just make sure to wear the proper PPE when using that stuff.
Could try out Jasco, I've used it to strip the black coating off of some knives and that's not easy stuff to remove, it made the job easy, but usually it will strip all the paint down to the bare metal.
Memorial day is right around the corner, so I was just getting the fit for the flag on the truck so it'll be a fast set up for the parade. This will make the 2nd year in a row Crispy got to participate in the Walker Memorial Parade, hence, the one year anniversary since catching on fire and...
I've used that outdoor bleach before to clean vinyl siding and it worked well, especially the siding closest to the ground that likes to get growth on it, the bleach really helps to mitigate that growth much better than soap or degreaser alone.
I'll say I haven't had issues with stickiness or difficulty shifting when it was cold out, but I imagine in warmer temps, the non detergent SAE 40 would work too. It may not sound as ideal as some other fluids, but it is what Spicer spec'ed for their tranny and such and it is bronze safe. Only...
Actually Harbor Freight has that little transfer pump for around $50-60 that has the alligator clips. It says it's not for fuel or oil, but I've been using mine for that and it's worked better than the fuel designated pumps from Amazon.
