Sometimes people will scoff at off brand winches, but most of them are pretty decent and do what they are designed to do. I got a Zeak brand 10k winch on my pick up and it's always worked when I needed it. Only thing I've noticed is that better quality or the name brand like Warn, tend to have...
May not be a bad idea to take some pictures. I'll have to research that thread again, to find out what length the struts are and what kind they used since there's so many variable models
Depending on what kind of stencils you can make, if it can do more than just letters and numbers, could produce some camo patterns for small projects like ammo cans, firearms, ect. Good money in some of that stuff. I got 6 sheets for my 50 cal and probably could have used 7 or 8, but yeah, any...
I'm glad to see it turned out well! I wanted to go so bad, but with a baby and work, it just wasn't possible this year. Seeing how highly other members are speaking of Windrock, sounds like we have a great spot for the future, but also motivates myself and I'm sure others, to want to attend...

My old shop teacher used to talk about that. Anti-seize was better for parts that were never exposed to the elements or maintenance on a regular basis. Sealants were the better alternative for parts that see the elements but he always said that grease was a poor man's sealant.
No problem Rusty, I was just wondering in case if I had that problem, help me understand what's going on. I won't need one, at least not right now, sigley89 is the one who would need it should you or Gimpy find one.
I saw that too. I was thinking of a two piece rod that goes together like tent poles, but using steel. Having a fork end on it or something similar, to fit into a hole on a bracket that can be bolted on under the hood, and the rod can rest on the grill guard or a bracket installed onto it, them...
